The upcoming 2024-2025 Maruti Suzuki Dzire is set to make its debut in India on November 11th. While the official launch is still a few days away, leaks have already revealed key details about the compact sedan, including its updated interior and engine specifications. The new Dzire promises a number of enhancements compared to its predecessor, with spy shots revealing a sleek and modern design, both inside and out.
The leaked images showcase a dual-tone cabin with faux wood trim on the dashboard, adding a touch of sophistication. The multi-functional 3-spoke steering wheel and conventional instrument cluster maintain a familiar feel, while the updated control section appears more premium than the previous model. The centre console features a floating touchscreen infotainment system, expected to be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Some reports speculate that the top-end trim might include features such as an electric sunroof, wireless charger, and a 360-degree camera, though these details remain unconfirmed. On the exterior, the new Dzire boasts a striking design with a large grille featuring horizontal slats, sharp LED headlamps, and LED taillights.
Under the hood, the 2024-2025 Dzire will use the same engine as the current model – a 1.2-litre Z-series new 3-cylinder engine. This powertrain is capable of generating a maximum power of 80 bhp and 112 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, with a company-fitted CNG option also available for wider customer appeal.
