In a dramatic display, Maliwal presented a bottle of what she claimed to be polluted water collected from a house in Sagarpur, where the government has been supplying water. She delivered this “black” water to the doorstep of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, demanding immediate action.
Maliwal's action is a direct escalation of the already strained relationship between the AAP and the Delhi government. She stated that she was invited by a family in Sagarpur to inspect the water quality and was shocked to find it heavily polluted.
