The first of the three new Vande Bharat Express trains will connect Chennai Central to Nagercoil in Tamil Nadu. This train, initially flagged off from Chennai Central, will operate regularly from Chennai Egmore and run daily, except on Wednesdays. It is designed to cater to the needs of pilgrims traveling to significant religious sites, including the Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai and the Kumari Amman Temple in Kanniyakumari. The train will make stops at key cities and towns along the route, including Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirappalli, Dindugal, Madurai, Kovilpatti, and Tirunelveli, ensuring seamless connectivity for passengers.

The second new Vande Bharat Express train will operate between Madurai in Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru Cantonment in Karnataka, connecting two prominent cities in South India. This train service will run six days a week, with Tuesday designated as the day of rest. It aims to facilitate travel between the bustling temple city of Madurai and the cosmopolitan city of Bengaluru, also the state capital of Karnataka. The train will make stops at Dindugal, Tiruchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Salem, and Krishnarajapuram, offering convenient connectivity for commuters and travelers between these two important cities.

The third new Vande Bharat Express train will connect Meerut City in Uttar Pradesh with Lucknow, the state capital. This train service will begin its regular operation from Lucknow on Sunday and from Meerut on Monday, running six days a week, excluding Tuesdays. This train is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting religious tourism in the region by providing faster and more efficient travel to various pilgrimage sites, including the Digambar Jain Temple, Mansa Devi Mandir, Surajkund Temple, and Augharnath Temple. The train will make stops at Moradabad and Bareilly, enhancing connectivity for pilgrims and tourists visiting these revered locations.
