The Indian government recently issued a reassuring statement regarding a new circular from the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) concerning FASTag transactions. However, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways swiftly clarified that this is not the case. The core of the misunderstanding stems from a clause within the circular that addresses transaction timelines.
