The highly anticipated Bollywood films, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, are set to clash at the box office on November 1st. Singham Again, the third installment in the Singham series and the fifth film in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe, boasts a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the third film in the horror comedy franchise, features Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit Nene.
Advance bookings for both films have begun with a strong response. According to the ticket selling portal Book My Show, the most expensive tickets for both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again are priced at a whopping Rs 2,700 at the multiplex Maison PVR: Jio World Drive in Mumbai. This high ticket price reflects the immense hype surrounding these big-budget productions.
Both films are threequels, with Singham Again marking the continuation of the action thriller series that began with Singham, Singham Returns, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 follows the horror comedy franchise, revived in 2022 with Kartik Aaryan replacing Akshay Kumar, who starred in the 2007 original. While Rohit Shetty has directed all the films in the Cop Universe, retaining most of the cast, Bhool Bhulaiyaa was helmed by Priyadarshan in its first iteration, featuring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja. Vidya Balan reprises her role as Manjulika in the threequel, while Triptii Dimri replaces Kiara Advani as the heroine.
The clash between Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is generating considerable buzz in the Bollywood film industry. Both films are expected to perform well at the box office, given their star-studded cast, established franchises, and the festive season release date. However, it remains to be seen which film will emerge as the ultimate winner in this box office battle.
