The Mumbai police's crime branch made a significant arrest in the ongoing investigation into the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, apprehending a scrap dealer in Navi Mumbai. This arrest marks the tenth individual taken into custody in connection with the sensational crime, which occurred on October 12th. The accused, identified as Bhagwat Singh Om Singh (32), is a native of Udaipur, Rajasthan, and resides and works in Navi Mumbai.

However, the main shooter, Shivkumar Gautam, and two other individuals implicated in the murder conspiracy remain at large.
