This revelation, brought to light during the custodial interrogation of former RG Kar principal Sandip Ghosh and former officer in charge of Tala police station Abhijit Mondol, underscores the gravity of the situation and raises serious concerns about the integrity of the initial investigation.
The CBI's claims, based on evidence gathered during the interrogation of the accused, suggest that false records were created or altered at the Tala police station.
