The merit list is a provisional list, indicating the initial ranking of candidates based on their performance in the NEET UG exam. The first round of counselling will follow shortly after the merit list publication. During this round, candidates will have the opportunity to fill in their preferences for medical colleges and specializations. The choice-filling and security deposit submission period will end on August 27th, giving candidates ample time to make informed decisions.
The security deposit amount varies based on the type of college and seat. For admission to government medical colleges, the security deposit is Rs 50,000. However, management seat applicants in government society colleges need to pay Rs 2 lakh. Private medical college applicants must deposit Rs 5 lakh, while those opting for private dental colleges are required to pay Rs 10,000. NRI candidates must pay Rs 5 lakh.
The Rajasthan NEET UG seat allotment result for 2024 will be announced on August 29th, based on the preferences filled by candidates. This result will determine which college and specialization each candidate is assigned to. The seat matrix for Round 1 is available on the official website, providing information about the number of seats available in different colleges and categories.
