A helicopter carrying four people, including the pilot and co-pilot, crash-landed in Kondhwale village near Paud, Pune, on Saturday afternoon. The incident occurred around 2 pm due to unfavorable weather conditions. The helicopter, belonging to a private company, was en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad when the pilot decided to land due to heavy rainfall in the Mulshi taluka region. While attempting to land, the helicopter collided with a tree and subsequently crash-landed.

The four individuals on board, identified as Captain Anand, Deer Bhatia, Amardeep Singh, and SP Ram, sustained injuries. Captain Anand's injuries were reportedly more severe, while the other three were treated at a primary health center in Paud. The two pilots and two engineers, all employees of the private company, were on a 'company ride' to Hyderabad from Mumbai. The helicopter, an AW 139 model, was operated by a private company based in Juhu, Mumbai.

The incident sparked immediate concern among local residents and tourists visiting nearby attractions like Mulshi and Tamhini Ghat. Several individuals rushed to the crash site and assisted disaster management authorities with the rescue operation. The incident highlights the potential risks associated with air travel, particularly in areas prone to adverse weather conditions.
